Prestige Canine Registry (PCR) operates as a verification-based canine registry focused on documentation, traceability, and long-term referenceability. PCR does not promote, rank, market, or endorse canines or breeding programs. PCR's role is to verify, structure, and maintain records that can be independently referenced and relied upon.
Prestige Canine Registry (PCR) operates as a structured, verification-based system designed to ensure that every registered canine meets clear standards of identity, traceability, and documentation. Registration is granted only after required verification elements are submitted and reviewed.
To begin, users must create a PCR account and select the appropriate access type or membership status:
Associate Membership — $0 FREE
A view and browsing account intended for buyers, browsers, and general users who wish to access the PCR ecosystem without registration privileges. Associate Membership permits users to browse PCR-verified canines, review ownership and lineage information where available, and maintain general account access. Associate Membership does not permit canine registrations, litter registrations, ownership transfers requiring active membership privileges, or any breeder-related registry functions.
Core Membership — $80 (Annual Renewal)
Provides access to canine registration functions, included registration allotments, litter-related features, and applicable registry services.
Prestige Ambassador — $150 (Annual Renewal)
Provides enhanced registry privileges, expanded included allotments, and professional breeder-level access within the PCR ecosystem.
Users attempting to register a canine, litter, or access breeder-specific functions while on Associate Membership will be prompted to purchase an eligible membership status.
PCR accepts both official share links and uploaded documents, which are securely stored and used strictly for verification purposes. Membership pricing is reviewed periodically. Active members will receive advance notice prior to any pricing adjustments.
All users are classified into registry statuses based on their level of participation, experience, and intended use of the platform. Each status reflects a different type of canine owner or breeder, and pricing is structured accordingly.
Each canine is assigned to an official PCR classification tier upon approval: - Gold Tier — Purebred classification - Blue Tier — Designer classification Classification is determined strictly by verified data and PCR standards, without reliance on claims, labels, or marketing terminology.
Upon approval: - A unique PCR Canine ID is issued. - A permanent digital registry record is created. (For as long as PCR status is held.) - The canine is entered into PCR's official database. - Lineage linkage is established where applicable. All records are structured for long-term reference, traceability, and verification.
PCR offers three membership tiers, each with distinct canine allotments, pricing, and platform access. Additional per-canine registration fees beyond the included allotment: - Core members: Please visit PCR's current membership page for up-to-date pricing. - PA members: Please visit PCR's current membership page for up-to-date pricing. Optional document fees: - Physical Registration Certificate: Please visit PCR's current membership page for up-to-date pricing. - Pedigrees (3 to 8 generations): Please visit PCR's current membership page for up-to-date pricing. All fees are displayed to the member prior to submission and payment. Included canine allotments may be adjusted by PCR at any time, with advance notice provided to affected members.
PCR litter registrations are divided into two official pathways: - New Litter Registrations — for litters produced after both parent canines are already known and eligible within PCR - Past Litter Registrations — for litters produced prior to PCR registration and requiring full standard verification review. All litter registrations remain subject to PCR's identity, lineage, and documentation standards.
A New Litter Registration applies when a breeder wishes to register a newly produced litter under PCR. To begin, the submitting owner must initiate the litter registration request from their account dashboard and provide all required litter details. For a litter to qualify, both parent canines must already be actively registered with PCR and remain in good standing. Only the dam (mother) owner may submit a litter registration request. Where a litter involves parent canines owned by separate parties, the sire (father) owner is automatically notified upon submission. The sire owner is not required to approve the registration in advance — the litter is processed immediately upon submission. If the breeding did not occur or the sire information is inaccurate, the sire owner has 30 days from the notification date to file a dispute through the Sire Dispute System (see Section 4.5). Where both parent canines are under the same ownership, no third-party notification is issued; however, all submissions remain subject to PCR audit rights. All new litter submissions undergo verification review, including confirmation of both parent registrations, validation of breeding and whelp dates, litter count review, and internal consistency checks against existing lineage records. Where both parents are fully PCR verified, the litter may qualify for automatic lineage linkage, allowing offspring to be structurally tied to the verified parental records without immediate individual DNA verification at the litter stage. If both parents are under the same ownership, registration proceeds based on owner attestation, subject to PCR's audit rights. PCR reserves the right to require DNA verification of any offspring at any time in cases of dispute, inconsistency, random audit, or quality review.
PCR maintains transparent litter registration pricing based on membership status: - Core - Please visit PCR's current membership page for up-to-date pricing. - Prestige Ambassador - Please visit PCR's current membership page for up-to-date pricing.
PCR does not support Past Litter Registrations. All litter submissions must be initiated at or near the time of whelping, with both parent canines actively registered with PCR and in good standing at the time of submission. Alternatively, PCR offers Lineage Claim Requests (LCR) for members who happen to come across past litters or the canine parents you purchased your canine from. (See Sect. 4)
All litter submissions, whether new or historical, remain subject to PCR audit rights. PCR reserves the right to require: - Parent DNA confirmation - Offspring DNA verification - Additional ownership verification - Microchip validation - Supplemental health documentation Any false litter claim, false parent pairing, or intentional misrepresentation may result in denial, revocation, suspension, or permanent registry-ban action. PCR's priority is long-term lineage integrity and verification confidence.
A Lineage Claim Request (LCR) is a formal submission through which an eligible PCR member may establish or document a lineage connection for a canine that is already registered and approved within the PCR system. LCR is not a registration pathway. It is a supplemental record process that links an existing PCR canine to a claimed parent or ancestor. Once an LCR is approved, the established lineage connection is automatically reflected in the canine's official PCR pedigree.
To submit an LCR, the member must hold an active PCR account with at least one approved canine registered under their account. LCR submissions may only be filed on behalf of canines that are already registered and approved within PCR. The subject canine must complete standard PCR registration before a lineage claim may be initiated. Both claimed parent canines must also be registered and approved within PCR. If a claimed parent is not yet PCR-registered, the submitting member should connect the relevant owner or breeder with PCR for registration before filing a claim.
An LCR may be submitted through the member's PCR dashboard. Required information includes: - The subject canine's existing PCR record - PCR IDs of both claimed parent canines - Origin breeder name and contact information - Supporting documentation - A formal declaration confirming the accuracy of all submitted information
Lineage Claim Requests are reviewed and managed exclusively by PCR administrators. There is no co-owner notification or approval step in the LCR process — the request is evaluated based on the submitted documentation and admin discretion alone. LCR statuses follow PCR's standard review lifecycle: PENDING → UNDER REVIEW → APPROVED or DECLINED. An admin note may be provided upon any status update. The submitting member is notified by email at submission and upon each status change. Upon approval, a new canine record is automatically generated in PENDING status and enters the standard registration review queue. PCR retains full override authority at all stages and reserves the right to decline any LCR that does not meet documentation or verification standards.
False lineage claims, misrepresented parent information, or intentional submission of inaccurate documentation may result in claim denial, revocation of any established lineage link, account suspension, or permanent registry action. Each LCR submission is assigned a unique LCR reference ID for tracking and audit purposes.
A registered sire owner may dispute their canine's parentage attribution on a litter registration within 30 days of the litter record being created. Disputes are submitted through the PCR platform and assigned an initial status of OPEN. Registry staff review submitted disputes and update the record to UNDER REVIEW during active evaluation. Upon conclusion, the status transitions to either RESOLVED or DISMISSED. A resolved dispute may result in the associated litter registration being amended or revoked. Only the registered sire owner may initiate a dispute for a given litter record.
PCR maintains a secure ownership transfer system through the use of One-Time Transfer Codes (OTTC). The OTTC process is the exclusive method by which ownership of a PCR-registered canine may be transferred from one registered owner to another within PCR. All ownership transfers must be completed through PCR's official transfer workflow to preserve registry accuracy, lineage continuity, and legal ownership records.
When an owner intends to transfer ownership of a registered canine, the current registered owner must initiate the transfer request from their PCR dashboard. During this process, the transferring owner must select the applicable canine from their active registered canines and generate a unique One-Time Transfer Code. Each OTTC is: - Unique to the specific canine - Single-use only - Time-sensitive and expiration-based - Locked to the transfer request at the time of generation Once issued, the code may be shared directly with the receiving owner. PCR strongly recommends that the code only be shared once all sale, adoption, or transfer terms have been completed between the parties.
The receiving owner must either create a PCR account or log into an existing PCR account in order to claim the transferred canine. The OTTC must then be entered at the time of joining PCR or if the member already has an account, through their dashboard. Upon successful code entry, the receiving owner will be prompted to review the canine's existing registry record and confirm the ownership transfer request. This process may include verification of: - Canine name and PCR Canine ID - Current registered lineage record - Microchip information - Basic ownership details Once accepted, the canine's registry ownership will be reassigned to the new owner.
PCR uses the OTTC system to ensure that ownership changes occur only with authorization from the current registered owner. Once the transfer is completed: - The previous ownership record is archived - The new owner is assigned as the active registered owner - Lineage and historical registry data remain intact - The PCR Canine ID remains unchanged This preserves continuity of the canine's permanent registry record. Ownership changes do not affect lineage history, litter history, or prior verification records.
All ownership transfers involving an existing PCR-registered canine must be completed exclusively through the official One-Time Transfer Code (OTTC) system. The current registered owner may generate an OTTC at the time of sale or transfer. The accepting owner is responsible for entering the valid code within PCR to complete ownership reassignment and assume control of the canine's existing PCR record. The accepting owner is solely responsible for payment of the applicable transfer fee, based on their active membership status at the time the transfer is accepted:
- Core Status - Please visit PCR's current membership page for up-to-date pricing.
- Prestige Ambassador Status - Please visit PCR's current membership page for up-to-date pricing.
This fee covers OTTC validation, ownership reassignment, registry record updates, and uninterrupted lineage history & continuity. To preserve record integrity, any canine with an existing PCR ID may not be submitted as a new registration.
Ownership changes for existing PCR-registered canines must proceed through OTTC transfer only. Duplicate registrations of an already PCR-registered canine are not permitted. Canines that do not currently hold an existing PCR record must follow PCR's standard registration process and applicable registration pricing structure. PCR reserves the right to amend this transfer policy and related fees as needed to maintain registry integrity and operational standards, with or without prior notice.
New to PCR: A new owner purchasing an already PCR-registered canine must first activate a PCR status.
Example: $80 Core status + $10 transfer fee = $90 total
Existing Core Member: A current Core member accepting an OTTC transfer for an already PCR-registered canine. Total due at transfer: $10
Existing Prestige Ambassador: A current Prestige Ambassador accepting an OTTC transfer for an already PCR-registered canine. Total due at transfer: $5
Each One-Time Transfer Code is valid for one transfer request only. Once redeemed, the code becomes permanently invalid and cannot be reused. PCR has applied an expiration date to all OTTC: 3 months from generating the OTTC, it will expire. If the code expires before use, the transfer opportunity is forfeited. The new owner will be required to submit the canine as a standalone registration and pay the applicable registration fee — the OTTC transfer path is no longer available. Any attempt to use an expired, previously redeemed, or unauthorized code will result in transfer denial. PCR reserves the right to temporarily freeze any transfer request in cases of suspected fraud, dispute, or ownership inconsistency.
PCR reserves the right to review and audit any ownership transfer at any time. In cases of dispute, PCR may require: - Proof of sale or transfer agreement - Microchip ownership verification - Additional identity confirmation from both parties - Supplemental documentation related to the transfer False transfer attempts, unauthorized code sharing, or intentional misuse of OTTCs may result in account suspension, transfer reversal, or permanent registry action. PCR's priority is maintaining accurate ownership records and long-term registry integrity.
Ownership transfers may only be initiated for canines with an APPROVED registration status. Canines in PENDING, SUSPENDED, or any other non-approved status are not eligible for transfer until the underlying issue is resolved. The platform will block transfer attempts for ineligible canines.
PCR offers two types of official documentation: Certificates of Registration and Genetic Pedigree Reports. Both are available in digital and physical formats. Certificate requests are submitted through the PCR dashboard and processed following payment. Digital certificates are made available for immediate download upon payment confirmation. Physical certificates are processed and mailed by PCR administration to the address provided at the time of the request. PCR reserves the right to withhold documentation for canines with incomplete records or unresolved administrative issues.
Upon successful enrollment and payment confirmation, a 14-day grace period begins immediately. During this period, the new PA member must register and receive administrative approval for a minimum of four (4) canines within their PCR account. Members who do not meet this requirement within 14 days will be automatically downgraded from PA status to Core membership. Upon downgrade, a 5-business-day appeal window opens; members may submit an appeal through their PCR dashboard during this period. If no appeal is submitted or the appeal is denied, the downgrade stands for that enrollment period and re-enrollment requires a new PA enrollment. PA members approaching the deadline will receive reminder notifications at 7 days, 3 days, and 1 day remaining.
Active Prestige Ambassador members have access to the following platform features not available to lower membership tiers:
Dynasty Showcasing Page: A public-facing profile dedicated to the PA member's breeding program, displaying registered canine litters from PCR verified canines.
Future Litters Showcase: A tool for PA members to publish upcoming litter announcements to the PCR community.
PA Member Directory: PA members are listed in a searchable directory accessible to all registered PCR users.
PA Private Group & PA Kit: Access to a private communication group exclusive to active Prestige Ambassador members. Along with an exclusive PA Thank You Kit for you and your canine. (ltd. to the first 150 Prestige Ambassadors.)
Preferred Registration Pricing: PA members receive reduced per-canine registration fees beyond their included allotment, as described in Section 2.5 or our most recent pricing schedule.
Feature access remains active while the PA subscription is current. Access during a grace period or appeal window is governed by the terms in Section 7.
Rights classifications are assigned to every canine at the time of registration and are stored as permanent record entries in the PCR system. PCR retains administrative authority to review and correct rights assignments at any stage. Members may not self-modify a canine's rights classification after registration; any change must be submitted through PCR administration. For technical definitions of each classification type, refer to the PCR Standards, Section 6.
Dynasty Rights is the default classification assigned to canines unless Companion Rights is explicitly designated at the time of submission. Dynasty Rights canines are unrestricted on the PCR platform with respect to litter registration eligibility. Any attempt to register a litter using a canine whose rights were incorrectly recorded may be flagged or rejected by PCR administration during the review process.
Companion Rights designations are set by the placing breeder or registering member at submission and are binding on the canine's PCR record from that point forward. The designation persists through ownership transfers and is not subject to reset or automatic upgrade. A member in receipt of a Companion-rights canine who seeks a rights change must submit a formal request to PCR administration with supporting documentation. PCR reserves the right to approve or deny any rights reclassification request at its sole discretion.
Keeping Rights is a visibility designation assigned by the breeder at the time of litter registration to indicate that a specific puppy is being retained by the breeder and is not available for inquiry or placement. When a litter is registered and one or more puppies are designated as Keeping, those canines are created in the PCR system with a locked status. A locked Keeping canine has a PCR record and an assigned PCR ID, but will not appear as active or publicly visible until the breeder completes individual registration. The Keeping designation does not carry a predetermined rights classification. The breeder's subsequent action determines the outcome: a breeder who proceeds with individual registration is implying Dynasty — the canine enters the registry as a full PCR member, visible on the platform and eligible for lineage participation. A breeder who does not proceed with individual registration is implying a Companion-like outcome — the canine remains locked and hidden from public view, visible only within the litter or Dynasty Showcase while still under the breeder's ownership. To complete individual registration of a Keeping canine, the breeder must submit a valid DNA document from their account dashboard. Microchip documentation and health records are optional but recommended. The individual registration is subject to the same fee structure as a standard new canine registration — registration within the member's canine limit is included under the applicable membership plan, and registrations beyond the limit are subject to the applicable per-canine fee. Approval of the associated litter registration does not constitute activation or approval of any Keeping-designated canine. Each must be individually registered and reviewed on its own merit.
All canines within the PCR registry progress through a defined status lifecycle managed by PCR administration. The status of a canine determines its visibility and eligibility for services. PENDING — Submitted and awaiting administrative review. Visible only to the owner and PCR administration. UNDER REVIEW — Flagged for closer review. The member may be contacted for additional information. APPROVED — Verified by PCR and visible to all authenticated members. Eligible for ownership transfers, certificate requests, and litter registrations. DECLINE — Registration rejected. Visible only to the owner and PCR administration. An auditor note will be provided. PENDING PAYMENT — Awaiting payment confirmation before full submission is processed.
When a canine ownership transfer is completed and the receiving party does not yet have a verified PCR account, the canine is assigned a PENDING_OWNER_REG status. This status indicates that the registration record is awaiting the new owner's account setup and verification. Canines in PENDING_OWNER_REG status are not eligible for litter registration, further ownership transfer, or other registry actions. The status transitions to APPROVED once the new owner completes account registration and the record is verified by the platform.
PCR members are responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials. All sessions are authenticated through a secure system. Members must not share their account credentials with any third party. PCR administration will never ask for a member's password.
PCR uses a one-time passcode (OTP) system to verify member email addresses at registration. After five (5) consecutive failed OTP attempts, the account will be locked for thirty (30) minutes. OTP resend requests are rate-limited to one (1) per minute. Members who have lost access to their registered email address should contact PCR support immediately.
Accounts flagged for suspicious activity, payment failures, or policy violations may be placed in a SUSPENDED or DEACTIVATED status by PCR administration. Suspended members retain login access but cannot perform registry services until the suspension is lifted.
PCR is a fully private platform. No content is accessible without a valid, authenticated PCR session. Member information and canine records are not available to the general public. PCR does not sell, share, or disclose member data to third parties except as required by applicable law.
Canines with PENDING or DECLINE status are visible exclusively to their registered owner and PCR administration. APPROVED canines with an active public profile are visible to all authenticated PCR members through the registry search. A canine's profile becomes public upon administrative approval.
Health records, DNA reports, and related canine documentation are private by default. Only the canine's registered owner and PCR administration can access these documents without a formal request. Any authenticated PCR member may submit a health document access request, which the canine's owner may approve or deny. If approved, access is granted for a period of 7 days and may be revoked by the owner at any time prior to expiration.
PCR membership subscriptions are managed through Stripe. Members may cancel their subscription at any time through their Stripe billing portal. PCR does not issue refunds on membership fees or canine registration fees — all registry services are permanent in nature and rendered at the time of submission.
PCR canine records are permanent by design. A verified PCR registration cannot be removed from the registry — the PCR ID, verification history, and lineage data represent a factual, historical record that exists independently of membership status. When a member voluntarily cancels their subscription, their account is placed into Suspended status and their canine records enter a partially sealed state, publicly visible as confirmed PCR registrations, but with owner details, documentation, and full lineage access restricted. The record’s existence is permanent; full exposure is a membership privilege. Members who cancel in good standing may reactivate their account or rejoin PCR at any time. Members who reactivate within 45 days of their cancellation date will have their remaining subscription time restored. PCR does not issue refunds on membership fees or Prestige Canine Registry features. All registry services are rendered at the time of submission and are permanent in nature as to preserve registry integrity; cancellation does not alter, remove, or reverse any completed registry service. In exceptional circumstances, members may submit a refund request to support@prestigecanineregistry.com. PCR reserves the right to grant or deny refund requests at its sole discretion.
If a membership renewal payment fails, PCR will notify the member immediately. The account is placed into Suspended status and all associated canine records enter a partially sealed state. The canine registration exists as a permanent PCR record, but active privileges, full public visibility, and documentation access are restricted until the account is restored. The member may resolve the outstanding balance to restore their account and full record access. If resolved, the account and all canine records are fully restored. If unresolved, the account remains Suspended and records remain partially sealed.
PCR reserves the right to permanently remove a member's account in cases of severe policy violations, including but not limited to fraudulent registrations, falsified documentation, identity misrepresentation, or intentional misuse of the registry system. Members whose accounts are removed by PCR are permanently barred from re-registering with PCR under any name, kennel name, email address, or identity associated with the removed account. This restriction extends to any future account created with the intent to circumvent a PCR-initiated removal. Canine records associated with a PCR-removed account are flagged and sealed within the registry. Records confirmed as fraudulent or falsified may be formally voided and marked as such in the permanent registry — the only circumstance under which a PCR registration may be administratively invalidated. Members subject to PCR-initiated removal may submit a formal appeal within the designated 5 business day appeal window. PCR's determination is final.
Following cancellation or non-renewal of a Prestige Ambassador subscription, the member enters the PA Grace Period defined in Section 7. During this period, the member may submit a reinstatement appeal through their PCR dashboard to restore full PA membership standing. Appeals are reviewed by PCR registry staff. An approved appeal restores PA membership and halts any pending downgrade. A denied appeal or one not submitted within the grace period window results in the member being downgraded to Core Registry (CR) status.
All registries accounts and associated documentation are subject to ongoing audit(s), including but not limited to: - DNA records - Microchip Identification - Health Documentation - Ownership and Lineage Records
Audits may be conducted: - Randomly - Automatically - Manually - In response to discrepancies or registry review
When submitted documentation indicates detrimental, progressive, or fatal health conditions, PCR may request updated records or additional clarification.
PCR reserves the right to reassess registry referenceability when health conditions materially affect the accuracy, relevance, or integrity of registry records.
Uploaded documentation may be reviewed at any time for verification, consistency, or re-evaluation purposes.
PCR may consult qualified third-party professionals, laboratories, or specialists when additional expertise is required to assess submitted records.
PCR verifies the authenticity and structural integrity of registry data.
Users retain control over disclosure, visibility, and sharing of records, subject to PCR verification status and platform rules.
PCR does not: Broker sales or breedings, evaluate temperament or behavioral suitability, assess market value, mediate disputes between parties.
PCR functions solely as a documentation, verification, and classification registry, not as a transactional or advisory service.
PCR members may request access to private health and DNA documentation associated with another member's registered canine through the Health Document Request System. Health and DNA records are restricted by default and require explicit approval from the canine's registered owner before access is granted.
A member initiates a health document request by selecting a canine through the PCR platform and submitting a request. The canine's owner receives a notification and may approve or deny the request. If approved, the requesting member is granted temporary read access to the specified records for a period of 7 days. If denied or left unanswered within the response window, access is not granted. All request activity is logged and visible to both parties and PCR administrators.
PCR members may file a formal report against another member or canine registration through the platform's report system. Reports are used to flag potential policy violations, inaccurate registrations, or conduct that conflicts with PCR standards.
Submitted reports are reviewed by PCR registry staff and assigned for evaluation. The subject of a report is not automatically penalized upon submission. Staff may request supporting documentation from the filing member during review. Upon assignment, a report is marked as READ when it enters active review. Upon conclusion, the report is marked as RESOLVED. Reports that are not actionable may be closed without further action at PCR's discretion. Actions resulting from an upheld report may include warnings, suspension, or removal of the associated registration or membership account, at PCR's discretion.
PCR may amend these standards as needed. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of all revisions. PCR records are verified, continuously reviewed, and structured for long-term reference. When documentation matters more than claims, PCR provides the framework for confidence, credibility, and accountability.
